50.84% of A & N Island’s Population is now Vaccinated with at least First Dose of COVISHIELD

50.84% of the total population of the Islands have been vaccinated with at least the first dose of COVID-19 vaccine, according to the latest figures released by the health department in the official COVID-19  health bulletin. 

The total population of the Islands in the health bulletin is listed as 4,00,000 and 2,03,342 people have been administered with at least the first dose of the vaccine in the Islands. 94,143 people out of the 2,03,342 have also been administered the second dose of the vaccine in the Islands.

The cumulative number of doses of COVID-19 vaccine administered in the Andaman and Nicobar Islands stands at 2,97,485.

On 2nd August 2021, 1198 people were vaccinated in the Islands. 94,117 people in 18-44 age group have been administered with COVID-19 vaccination in A & N Islands till 2nd August 2021.

Andaman and Nicobar Islands is moving towards becoming a fully vaccinated Union Territory.
