Shri. Ajoy Bairagi, State President, Bharatiya Janata Party, Andaman and Nicobar Islands has requested the Director, Directorate of Health Services to start a Dialysis unit at CHC Diglipur.
Shri. Ajoy Bairagi wrote a letter to the Director, Directorate of Health Services explaining the problems being faced by the patients of North and Middle Andaman District especially from Diglipur because of non-availability of a Dialysis Unit at CHC Diglipur.
Shri. Ajoy Bairagi wrote in his letter that the non-availability of an incorporated dialysis unit at CHC Diglipur is forcing the patients from North and Middle Andaman District to visit Port Blair for their dialysis procedure. The patients are facing a lot of issues because of the travel and is also putting additional financial burden on them.
He further mentioned that the pandemic has limited the means of transport which is further causing problems for the patients. Hr requested the Director to look into the issue and do the needful for the benefit of the patients.
