Shri. Ajoy Bairagi, State President, Bharatiya Janata Party, Andaman and Nicobar Islands, yesterday met Dr. Omkar Singh, Director of Health Services, Andaman and Nicobar Administration and spoke to him regarding the non-functioning of the Dialysis Unit at CHC Diglipur.
Shri. Ajoy Bairagi explained to the Director the problems being faced by the patients of Diglipur because of non-functioning of the Dialysis Unit at CHC, Diglipur. He explained how the patients have to travel to Mayabunder for their regular dialysis. Director, Health informed Shri. Ajoy Bairagi that the Dialysis Unit is not functional because of lack of the technical staffs.
Director, Health further assured to Shri. Ajoy Bairagi that by 26th of January 2021 staffs will be posted at Diglipur and the Dialysis Unit of CHC Diglipur will be made operational.
