Health Care Workers and Front Line Workers of the Islands are dedicatedly serving the Islanders everyday amidst the pandemic. Ever since the pandemic started these heroes have saved innumerable lives.
All throughout the Islands from Diglipur to Campbell Bay these health care workers and front line workers have proved to be the greatest asset for the society. They have been involved in house to house surveillance, treatment of positive patients, contact tracing and each and every aspect related to COVID management.
Everyday they step out of the comfort of their homes, to serve the Islanders by risking their lives. Many of these front line workers and health care workers have also contracted COVID-19 while treating and serving other Islanders.
Their dedication should be lauded and we as a society should recognise the risk they are taking everyday so that we can remain safe.
All we can do is honour them and ensure that we maintain Covid Appropriate Behaviour to save ourselves our family and the society from the clutches of the pandemic.
