Prime Minister Mr. Narendra Modi addressed the nation at 5 Pm today. He announced that the centre will provide free vaccine to all citizens of the country. He informed that on-demand of the states the process of vaccination was decentralised and states were given 25% responsibility of vaccination.
He added that some states have demanded that Central Govt. should take full responsibility of vaccination and hence the Central Govt. has decided to take the load of the additional 25% vaccination work allotted to the states. He also mentioned that now Central Govt. will procure and distribute 75% of all vaccines directly.
25% of vaccines will be procured by Private Hospitals directly.
