Sanjay Kumar Singh, State Vice President, Bharatiya Janata Party, Andaman and Nicobar Islands on Sunday received the first dose of COVID-19 vaccine at the Vaccination Centre, PHC Campbell Bay.
After his vaccination Sanjay Kumar Singh spoke to the BJP Karyakartas of Campbell Bay, Great Nicobar and requested them to encourage everyone 45 years of age or older to get themselves inoculated.
He further asserted that COVID-19 vaccine is 100% safe and requested everyone to get vaccinated as early as possible. He further asked everyone to not listen to the rumours about safety of the COVID-19 vaccination.
He asked the BJP Karyakartas from Great Nicobar to help everyone in getting vaccinated so that our Islands can become free from the clutches of COVID-19 pandemic.
Sanjay Kumar Singh while speaking to Nicobar Times asserted the need for wearing of face cover in public places and maintaining social distancing at all times. He further asked the public to wash their hands frequently and use hand sanitiser.
