Hon’ble Lieutenant Governor, Andaman and Nicobar Islands has declared that all Government Offices in the Union Territory of Andaman and Nicobar Islands including industrial establishments will remain closed on 14th April, 2023 on account of birthday of Dr B R Ambedkar in accordance with the instructions contained in the Government of India, Ministry of Personnel, Public Grievances and Pensions, Department of Personnel and Trainings Office memorandum number 12/4/2020-JCA dated 11th April, 2023.
Administartion announced that it will be a closed holiday under section 25 of Negotiable Instruments Act, 1881 (26 of 1881).
