Mr. Navneet, a 16-year-old student hailing from Andaman and Nicobar Islands has reportedly committed suicide at Kota. Navneet was a Medical Aspirant and was preparing for NEET (UG) at Allen Career Institute, Kota.
According to News reports Navneet did not pick his parents’ calls until late at night on Saturday. Worried parents contacted hostel authorities. The authorities knocked on his door but Naveneet did not open it for a long time. When the authorities peeped from the window they saw Navneet hanging from the fan of his room.
Hostel authorities informed the Police who came and lowered the body of Navneet. He was rushed to MBS Hospital, where he was declared dead.
A Postmortem Examination of the body will be conducted on Monday after the parents reach Kota.
7 students of Allen Career Institute, Kota have committed suicide since 1st January 2022, but the District Administration has not taken any action against the institute, commented Danik Navjyothi in its report of Navneet’s Suicide.
Navneet reportedly had exams on 17th July and was under stress, informed one Senior Police Officer of Kota to a media outlet.
