A team from Police Station Ograbraj has busted a Narcotics trafficking module operating in the area, in raids spanning two days. Four accused persons were booked under the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act, 1985 and a recovery of 225 grams of illicit Ganja was made.
On 08th of December 2022, acting upon credible information a team comprising of SI T Dilla Rao, SHO, PS Ograbraj, SI Tejeswar Rao, HCs Ashok Roy, R .K. Rathore, PCs Molina, Vishal Kumar, Firoz was constituted under the supervision of Mr. Arshdeep Singh Panwar, SDPO Bambooflat. The team conducted a two-day-long operation leading to the arrests of four accused residents of Tsunami Shelter (Chouldari), Tushnabad, Haddo (Ward No. 01) and Haddo (Sunder Colony). All accused were involved in the trafficking of Ganja in various parts of the South Andaman district. A total of 225 grams of Ganja were recovered in the operation. Further investigation of the case is in progress.
