25618 COVID Vaccine Doses Administered in A & N Islands

India is witnessing a rapid surge in COVID-19 cases in the recent past. On Sunday India added more than 1 Lakh new COVID-19 cases beating its previous high of 97,894 cases recorded on September 16 last year.

Andaman and Nicobar Islands along with the rest of the country is witnessing a surge in the cases in the recent past. As per official data released by Andaman and Nicobar Administration  the Islands have 57 Active cases of COVID-19 as on date. 11 cases were added to the tally and 03 patients have also recovered yesterday.

The official data released by the authorities on Vaccination Drive in A & N Island is quite encouraging. The data shows 12764 Health Care Workers and Front Line Workers have been administered with at-least one dose of COVID-19 vaccination. Further 6051 Health Care Workers and Front Line Workers have also been administered with second dose of the vaccine till 04th of April 2021.

Further 6794 citizens above the age of 45 years have also been vaccinated with first dose of COVID-19 vaccination and 9 people have also been vaccinated with second dose of the vaccine till 4th of April 2021.
