The Andaman Association of Tour Operators (AATO) is gearing up for the launch of the eagerly anticipated 2nd Andaman Tourism Roadshow, commencing with a lively inauguration ceremony this evening at Hotel Mansha Regency.
Chief Secretary of the Andaman and Nicobar Administration, Mr. Keshav Chandra, will grace the occasion as the Chief Guest, underscoring the significance of this event for the tourism sector in the region.
Over the course of four days, approximately 50 delegates from mainland India will immerse themselves in the allure of the Andaman and Nicobar Islands, focusing on the key tourist hubs of Port Blair, Swaraj Dweep (Havelock Island), and Shaheed Dweep (Neil Island).
Tomorrow, on June 14, 2024, the delegates will embark on a comprehensive tour of Swaraj Dweep, visiting iconic spots such as Kalapathar Beach and Radhanagar Beach, while also inspecting various hotels and resorts. The day will culminate in a grand gala dinner hosted in their honour.
The itinerary for June 15, 2024, includes explorations of Shaheed Dweep, encompassing visits to prominent tourist destinations and accommodations.
On June 16, 2024, the agenda will feature a beach cleaning drive at Corbyn’s Cove Beach in Port Blair, reflecting the commitment to sustainable tourism practices. This will be followed by visits to historical landmarks such as the Cellular Jail and further inspections of hospitality facilities.
The AATO has meticulously arranged every aspect of the 2nd Andaman Tourism Roadshow, in collaboration with the Ministry of Tourism, Government of India, aiming to showcase the region’s natural beauty and hospitality offerings to a discerning audience from across the country.
