Dr. Avijit Roy, Deputy Director (Health), A & N Administration and Nodal Officer (COVID-19) has informed all Health Institutions of Andaman and Nicobar Islands that consequent to the guidelines of Ministry of Health and Family Welfare dated 16th May 2021 and after subsequent changes on Co-Win Portal the second dose of Vaccination may be delayed from existing 6-8 weeks to 12-16 weeks i.e 84 to 112 days from the first dose with immediate effect.
Eligible beneficiaries for 2nd dose of COVID-19 vaccination (COVISHIELD) are to visit vaccination centres only after 12 weeks (84 days) and before 16 weeks (112 days) from the date of receiving the first dose of the vaccine.
