The High Court Legal Services Committee, under the aegis of the Andaman & Nicobar State Legal Services Authority (ANSLSA), successfully conducted the 2nd National Lok Adalat on June 21, 2025, at the Hon’ble Calcutta High Court, Circuit Bench at Port Blair.
The Lok Adalat, aimed at promoting alternative dispute resolution and reducing the burden on the judicial system, was presided over by a dedicated bench comprising Hon’ble Mr. Justice Jay Sengupta, Chairman, and Ms. Tasneem, Member. The session focused on delivering swift, accessible, and cost-effective justice while encouraging amicable settlements.
The initiative received active cooperation from all stakeholders involved in the judicial process. The High Court Legal Services Committee expressed sincere gratitude to all participants for their support and commitment to the cause of justice and legal empowerment.
