The fourth round of Hon’ble Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s nationwide ‘Grand Rozgar Mela’ is set to take place today at 10 a.m., bringing together job seekers from across India for a momentous event to held at 40 locations spanning various States and Union Territories. Andaman & Nicobar Islands will play a significant role in the event, a record 1,044 job offers will be extended to candidates — the highest number across the country.
As part of the national initiative, the A&N Islands’ UT Administration will host the event locally at the Dr. B.R. Ambedkar Institute of Technology (DBRAIT) Auditorium. Here, eligible candidates will receive Offer of Appointment letters for Group ‘C’ positions in multiple departments.
Prime Minister Modi will distribute over 51,000 appointment letters to newly hired young professionals across various government departments and organisations, connecting with participants via video conferencing. Mr. Satish Chandra Dubey, Hon’ble Minister of State for Coal and Mines, will serve as the Chief Guest, with Mr. Bishnu Pada Ray, Hon’ble Member of Parliament for A&N Islands, as Guest of Honour for the event in Andaman and Nicobar Islands. Senior officials and dignitaries from the UT Administration will also be in attendance.
The 1,044 selected candidates from A&N Islands, accompanied by their families, have been invited to attend the ceremony at DBRAIT Auditorium. Attendees are encouraged to be seated by 9 a.m. for the 10 a.m. ceremony. To facilitate ease of transport for candidates, an assembly point has been established at Netaji Stadium, where candidates have been requested to gather by 8 a.m. before being transported to the venue by bus.
The A&N Administration has extended a warm invitation to the selected candidates and their families for this significant event, a celebration of employment and opportunity under the Hon’ble PM’s vision for a self-reliant India.
