50 Devotees Set to Embark on Pilgrimage to Mahakumbh at Prayagraj from A & N Islands

A group of 50 devotees, including senior citizens, will depart from Sri Vijaya Puram on February 7, 2025, under the leadership of Mr. K. Thyagarajan, Vibhag Sah Karyavah of Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS), to attend the Mahakumbh at Tirthraj Prayagraj.

The team’s journey will begin with a meeting in Kolkata with senior RSS leaders before proceeding to Varanasi. On February 8, the group will spend the day at the Kashi Vishwanath Temple and visit other prominent temples in Varanasi. The next stop on their itinerary will be Ayodhya on February 9, where they will visit the Ram Mandir.

The pilgrimage will culminate in Prayagraj, where the devotees will participate in the Amrut Snan on the auspicious occasion of Purnima on February 12. The return journey from Prayagraj is scheduled for February 13, 2025.

A send-off ceremony will be held on February 7 at 9:15 am at Veer Savarkar International Airport. The event will feature blessings (Aashish Vachan) from Swamy Shrudhanand Saraswati, Swamy Chinmaya Mission, and Swamy Agnihotri for the devotees before they begin their spiritual journey.
