The Department of Education, Andaman & Nicobar Administration, is all set to host the highly anticipated 67th SGFI National School Games Football for Boys U-17. Scheduled to take place in Port Blair, the event is slated to run from December 27, 2023, to January 5, 2024, promising a spectacular showcase of talent and sportsmanship.
The vibrant inauguration of this prestigious event is scheduled for December 27th at 2:30 pm, to be held at the Netaji Stadium. The ceremony will feature an enthralling display of Colorful Cultural Mass Drill and Dance, setting the stage for the thrilling inaugural match. For the first time in the event’s history, a record-breaking 34 State/UT teams are actively participating, adding to the grandeur of this sporting extravaganza.
Among the enthusiastic contenders, representing various States and Union Territories, are Andaman & Nicobar Islands, Andhra Pradesh, Bihar, KVS, Chandigarh, Chhattisgarh, Indian Public School Conference (IPSC), Tripura, Delhi, Gujarat, Haryana, Navodaya Vidyalaya Samithi, International Board Schools Sports Organization, Manipur, Jammu & Kashmir, Jharkhand, Karnataka, Kerala, Lakshadweep, Madhya Pradesh, Maharashtra, Odisha, Punjab, Rajasthan, Tamil Nadu, Telangana, Uttar Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Puducherry, West Bengal, Arunachal Pradesh, Dadra Nagar Haveli, CBSE, and ICSE.
