A&N Administration will be observing the Tsunami Anniversary on 26th December 2022 at 8 am at Tsunami Memorial, Andaman Water Sports Complex.
Admiral DK Joshi, PVSM, AVSM, YSM, NM, VSM (Retd.), Hon’ble Lt Governor, A&N Islands and Vice Chairman, Islands Development Agency will offer floral tributes at the Tsunami Memorial to pay homage to the departed souls. Floral Tributes will also be paid by all others present on the occasion.
An all-religious prayer (Sarva Dharma Prarthana Sabha) will be organized at the Memorial on the occasion and a two minutes silence will also be observed.
Transport Department will operate special bus services on 26th December to facilitate the movement of residents from different areas of South Andaman District to the Tsunami Memorial.
