Andaman and Nicobar (A & N) Administration had concluded the Tier – I Written Examination aimed at filling 2516 vacancies across 212 categories of Group ‘C’ Matric Level Posts in various government departments under its jurisdiction. The examination, conducted in collaboration with the Staff Selection Commission (SSC), witnessed a substantial turnout, with 40,982 candidates appearing at 61 centres spread across the Islands on July 9, 2023.

A & N Administration, upon receiving the Answer Keys from the Staff Selection Commission (SSC) based in New Delhi, had promptly made the Answer Keys and OMR Answer Sheets of the candidates accessible on the portal https://karmic.andaman.gov.in/grpcmatric. This allowed candidates to raise claims and objections regarding the questions and answer keys.

Following the submission of claims and objections by the candidates, the A & N Administration meticulously scrutinised and addressed the raised issues. Additionally, weightage marks were allotted for dropped questions based on the evaluation of the Answer Sheets (OMR) by the Staff Selection Commission (SSC).

As a result, the statement of scores secured by the candidates has now been uploaded on the website https://karmic.andaman.gov.in/grpcmatric. This statement of scores will be accessible online starting from November 18, 2023, at 11 AM until November 21, 2023, midnight.

Furthermore, the process of short-listing candidates for Skill/Trade/Physical Endurance Tests (where applicable) is currently underway. The shortlisted candidates will be prepared as per the Vacancy Notice dated April 29, 2023, and will be uploaded separately on the same website shortly.

However, it’s crucial for candidates to note that the score list generated by the Staff Selection Commission does not guarantee any appointment or selection to the notified/preferred posts. The rank of candidates appearing in the score list does not necessarily imply inclusion in the final selection process. The Final Result remains subject to document verification (in original) and qualifying the skill/trade/physical endurance test whichever is applicable as per the Vacancy Notice dated April 29, 2023.

Moreover, the A & N Administration has emphasised its authority to rectify any errors or omissions detected at any stage of the process.
