The Department of Personnel and Training, Government of India, has ushered in a new era of digital efficiency with the introduction of the e-HRMS. This innovative platform aims to provide end to end online services to both employees and employers and to enhance speed, accuracy and transparency in matters related to delivery of service to the employee such as sanction of Leave, Advances etc.

The Administration of the Andaman and Nicobar Islands has embraced this modernisation initiative and plans to roll out e-HRMS across various departments. To kickstart this transformation, a pilot implementation of e-HRMS is set to begin in three key departments: the Secretariat, Police, and Shipping Department.

Once the pilot phase demonstrates successful results, e-HRMS will be progressively extended to all other departments in subsequent phases.

To ensure a smooth transition and prepare employees for the upcoming changes, a comprehensive training program has been scheduled. The training sessions will be conducted at the DBRAIT Auditorium in Pahargaon on September 22, 2023, commencing at 12:00 PM.

All employees within the Secretariat Establishment, A & N Police, and Shipping Department are cordially invited and encouraged to participate in the training. Their active involvement and familiarity with the e-HRMS system are pivotal to its successful implementation and will pave the way for an efficient and transparent service delivery framework.

The adoption of e-HRMS in the Andaman and Nicobar Administration reflects the government’s commitment to harnessing technology for improved governance, streamlined processes, and enhanced service delivery to both employees and employers. With this digital transformation, the Administration anticipates greater efficiency and accountability, ultimately benefiting the entire community in the Andaman and Nicobar Islands.
