AATO Delegation Holds Productive Meeting with Chief Secretary of A&N Administration

On 14th May 2024, a delegation from the Andaman Association of Tour Operators (AATO), led by its President, Mr. M. Vinod, convened with Mr. Keshav Chandra, IAS, the Chief Secretary of the Andaman and Nicobar Islands Administration. The meeting, held at the secretariat, centered on the forthcoming Andaman Roadshow to be organised by AATO, scheduled to take place in June.

During the discussion, the delegation emphasised the significance of the upcoming Andaman Roadshow and deliberated on various aspects of its organisation. They also appealed to the Chief Secretary for the active participation of the Administration in both domestic and international tourism fairs, aiming to boost tourism in the region.

Mr. Vinod conveyed his appreciation to Mr. Keshav Chandra for sparing time from his demanding schedule to meet with the delegation. He also expressed gratitude for the Chief Secretary’s commitment to extend full support for the successful execution of the Roadshow.

Accompanying Mr. Vinod were other key members of the delegation, including Mr. K. Hamza, the General Secretary, and Mr. P. S. Vijayan, the Organisational Secretary of AATO.

The meeting concluded on a positive note, with both parties looking forward to collaborating closely to promote tourism and enhance the visibility of the Andaman and Nicobar Islands on the global tourism map.
