AATO Delegation Meets DC South Andaman; Demands Better Tourism Facilities

A delegation of Andaman Association of Tour Operators led by its President, Mr. M Vinod along with Mr. P.S. Vijayan, Organising Secretary and Mr. Vivek Singh, Vice President met Mr. Suneel Anchipaka, Deputy Commissioner, South Andaman at his office and discussed various tourism-related issues.

Some major issues were raised by the delegation of AATO and they also requested the Deputy Commissioner to consider a separate convoy in the morning hours for tourists visiting Baratang. The delegation also demanded that bigger boats should be provided for Swaraj Dweep as the arrival of tourists have increased.

AATO delegation also requested the Deputy Commissioner to provide an additional ferry for Shaheed Dweep.

Mr. Suneel Anchipaka, Deputy Commissioner, South Andaman heard the problems and demands raised by the AATO delegation patiently and assured to look into it. AATO delegation expressed gratitude towards the Deputy Commissioner for all his support towards the tourism industry.
