A delegation of Andaman Association of Tour Operators led by Mr. Mohan Vinod, President, Mr. Vivek Singh, Vice President and Mr. Saikat Biswas, Joint Secretary on 21st December 2022, called on Hon’ble Lt.Governor, A & N Islands, Admiral D K Joshi, PVSM, AVSM, YSM, NM, VSM (Retd.) at Raj Nivas.
The delegation discussed various issues concerning tourism in Andaman and Nicobar Islands with the Lt. Governor.
Mr. Vinod submitted a representation to the Lt. Governor requesting the formation of a Tourism Coordination Committee involving stakeholders and various departments of the Andaman and Nicobar Administration.
Mr. Vinod also requested the Hon’ble Lt. Governor to ease the registration and renewal procedure of IV Boats, Parasailing Boats and other Water Sports Activities.
Hon’ble Lt. Governor apprised the delegation about various initiatives of the NITI Aayog & A & N Administration concerning the development of Tourism in these Islands. Lt. Governor also assured all possible assistance to Tourism Stakeholders for smooth operations of tourism-related activities in the Islands.
Mr. Vinod has expressed gratitude to the Lt.Governor for meeting the delegation amid his busy schedule.
