AATO Hosts Successful Tourism Roadshow in Ahmedabad

The Andaman Association of Tour Operators (AATO), in collaboration with the Global Travel Agents Association (GTAA) and the Travel Agents Association of Gujarat (TAG), organised a triumphant Andaman Tourism Roadshow at Hotel Pride Plaza in Ahmedabad. The event, which unfolded on August 22, showcased the captivating allure and diverse attractions of the Andaman Islands.

The purpose of the Andaman Tourism Roadshow was to position the Andaman Islands as a premier travel destination and foster meaningful connections between tour operators, travel agents, and industry stakeholders. This event drew travel enthusiasts, travel agents, and industry professionals from the region to explore the myriad attractions, activities, and opportunities available in the Andaman Islands.

M. Vinod, President of the Andaman Association of Tour Operators, expressed his enthusiasm for the successful event, stating, “We are thrilled to have organised this successful event in collaboration with GTAA and TAG associations of Gujarat. The Andaman Islands boast unparalleled natural beauty, rich culture, and a wide range of adventure and leisure activities. Our goal is to create awareness and establish strong partnerships that will contribute to the growth of tourism to the Andaman Islands.” He also announced that AATO would be participating in TTF Gandhinagar, scheduled from August 23 to 25.

The event featured informative presentations, interactive sessions, and engaging discussions about the unique experiences available to travellers in the Andaman Islands. Attendees had the opportunity to learn about the islands’ stunning beaches, diverse marine life, thrilling water sports, eco-tourism initiatives, and luxury accommodations.

P.S. Vijayan, Organising Secretary of AATO, extended his gratitude for the overwhelming support from attendees and industry partners. “We are thankful for the participation of our supporting partners Makruzz, Nautika, De Foret, and Aquays. Their support has been instrumental in making this roadshow a resounding success. By working together, we can create memorable experiences for travellers while also promoting sustainable tourism practices.”
