AATO Showcases Andaman Tourism at ‘Connect Bengal – 4’ in Kolkata

A 25-member delegation from the Andaman Association of Tour Operators (AATO), led by its President Mr. M. Vinod, participated in the fourth edition of Connect Bengal, a premier tourism networking event held at Hotel Hyatt Regency, Kolkata.

Organized by the Travel Agents Association of Bengal (TAAB), the one-day event brought together key tourism stakeholders from across the country. The event was inaugurated by the Chairman of the Chhattisgarh Tourism Board and served as a platform for promoting regional tourism, facilitating business interactions, and exploring collaborative opportunities within the industry.

The AATO delegation highlighted the diverse and rich tourism offerings of the Andaman & Nicobar Islands, engaging with mainland travel professionals and industry leaders to enhance visibility and business prospects for the Islands.

Expressing his appreciation for the invitation, Mr. M. Vinod thanked TAAB for providing the opportunity and underscored the importance of such platforms in positioning the Andaman Islands as a preferred travel destination.

“Participation in forums like Connect Bengal plays a vital role in promoting Brand Andamans and building stronger ties with mainland tourism stakeholders,” he said.

AATO reaffirmed its commitment to advancing sustainable tourism in the Andaman Islands through strategic collaborations and active participation in national-level tourism initiatives.
