A delegation of over 20 members from the Andaman Association of Tour Operators (AATO) is participating in the Travel and Tourism Fair (TTF) Kolkata 2025, being held from July 10 to 12 at Hall-A, Biswa Bangla Mela Prangan. The fair remains open to visitors from 11:00 AM to 6:00 PM daily.
Led by AATO President Mr. Mohan Vinod, the delegation is actively promoting the Andaman and Nicobar Islands as a premier travel destination, highlighting its unique blend of adventure tourism, eco-tourism, cultural heritage, and untouched beaches. The event provides a vital platform for AATO to engage with travel agents, buyers, and industry stakeholders from across the country.
Speaking to the media, Mr. Vinod emphasized the strategic importance of such platforms in fostering tourism growth and building robust B2B connections. “TTF offers a valuable opportunity to spotlight the natural beauty and tourism potential of the Andaman Islands. AATO remains committed to sustainable tourism that not only attracts visitors but also empowers local communities through job creation and entrepreneurship,” he stated.
The Andaman Pavilion, set up by tourism stakeholders from the Islands, has garnered significant interest from travel agents, media personnel, and visitors alike, many of whom expressed a strong curiosity in exploring the Islands’ serene landscapes and diverse tourism offerings.
TTF is among India’s largest travel trade exhibitions, bringing together tour operators, tourism boards, hoteliers, and travel agents under one roof. AATO’s participation reflects its ongoing efforts to firmly establish the Andaman Islands on the national tourism map.
