The Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad (ABVP), Andaman & Nicobar Islands, held a special felicitation ceremony on April 20, 2025, at Seva Bharti, Dollygunj, following the conclusion of its 4th City Executive Committee (CEC) meeting.
The event was graced by the presence of key ABVP leaders including Dr. Kandi Muthu (Vibhag Pramukh, ABVP A&N Islands), Dr. Santosh Kumar Jha (Vice President, ABVP Dakshin Bengal), Mr. Tejinder Singh (City President, ABVP Sri Vijay Puram), and Mr. Satyajit Halder (City Secretary, ABVP).
As part of the programme, ABVP Sri Vijay Puram felicitated three outstanding students from Andaman Law College — Ms. Sayantika Mistry, Ms. Komalpreet Kaur, and Ms. Esha Ebyinson, all third-year BA LLB students — who recently represented the Andaman & Nicobar Islands at the Viksit Bharat Youth Parliament 2025 held at Parliament House, New Delhi.
Organized by the Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports, Government of India, the Youth Parliament brought together young voices from across the country to engage in policy discussions and contribute ideas towards building a developed India. The students shared their experiences during the felicitation, reflecting on the exposure and learnings they gained through this prestigious platform, and underlined the significance of youth involvement in nation-building.
ABVP leaders congratulated the students for their achievements and expressed their appreciation for the dedication and talent they demonstrated on a national stage. They also acknowledged the crucial role of Dr. P.V.N Sharma, Principal of Andaman Law College, for his unwavering support and guidance to the students and ABVP karyakartas.
