ABVP Celebrates 163rd Birth Anniversary of Swami Vivekananda at JNRM College Campus

The Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad (ABVP) celebrated the 163rd birth anniversary of Swami Vivekananda, marking Rashtriya Yuva Diwas, with a grand event at JNRM College Campus. The celebration, held near the statue of Swami Vivekananda, saw enthusiastic participation from ABVP karyakartas, students, faculty members, and well-wishers from various colleges in the city.

The program began with a warm welcome address by Dr. Santosh Kumar Jha, Vice President of ABVP (Dakshin Bengal), who set the tone for the occasion. Mr. Tejinder Singh, City President of ABVP, captivated the audience with his speech, emphasizing the relevance of Swami Vivekananda’s teachings in shaping the character and vision of today’s youth. He encouraged students to embrace values such as discipline, self-confidence, and a commitment to social service, which were central to Vivekananda’s philosophy.

Mr. Rajeev Tiwari, City Vice President, delivered an inspiring address focusing on the extraordinary life and teachings of Swami Vivekananda. He highlighted the influence Vivekananda had on youth empowerment and his enduring contributions to national pride.

The event concluded with a heartfelt vote of thanks by Mr. Satyajit Halder, City Secretary, who expressed his gratitude to all attendees for making the event a grand success. The celebration served as a powerful reminder of Swami Vivekananda’s timeless message of unity, self-reliance, and dedication to the nation.
