ABVP Commemorates Netaji’s 128th Birth Anniversary at Marina Park

Sri Vijaya Puram, 24 January 2025  

The Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad (ABVP), A&N Island unit, observed Parakram Diwas, marking the 128th birth anniversary of Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose, on 23rd January 2025 at the historic Netaji Statue in Marina Park.  

The event was attended by distinguished members of ABVP, including Dr. Kandi Muthu (Vivag Pramukh), Dr. Santosh Kumar Jha (Vice President, Dakshin Bengal Prant), Mr. Tejinder Singh (City President), Dr. Rajeev Tiwari (City Vice President), Mr. Satyajit Halder (City Secretary), and Mr. R. Rajshekar (Treasurer).  

The program commenced with a warm welcome address by City President Tejinder Singh, setting the stage for a day of remembrance and celebration. Dr. Kandi Muthu highlighted Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose’s extraordinary contributions to India’s freedom struggle, emphasizing his fearless leadership and vision for an independent India.  

Dr. Santosh Kumar Jha offered a compelling narrative of Netaji’s historical legacy, drawing attention to his pivotal role in inspiring generations of Indians to strive for a self-reliant and strong nation.  

The ceremony concluded with a heartfelt vote of thanks delivered by Ayush Raj, ALC Convener, who expressed gratitude to all the participants and contributors for their enthusiastic support.  

The gathering reaffirmed Netaji’s ideals of courage, unity, and dedication, calling for their continued relevance in building a vibrant and progressive India.
