In a collective push towards environmental sustainability, the Andaman Chapter of the Association of Domestic Tour Operators of India (ADTOI), in collaboration with the Andaman Association of Tour Operators (AATO), organised a tree plantation drive at the Health and Wellness Centre in Rangachang, South Andaman.
The initiative, led by Mr. Mohan Vinod, Chapter Chairman of ADTOI Andaman Chapter, witnessed enthusiastic participation from several ADTOI members who came together to contribute to the cause of environmental conservation.
The drive was graced by Mr. Bhoominathan, Up-Adhyaksh of Zilla Parishad, South Andaman, who actively took part in the plantation activity, reinforcing the importance of community involvement in preserving the natural environment of the islands.
Speaking on the occasion, Mr. Mohan Vinod expressed his deep appreciation to Mr. Bhoominathan for his continued support and encouragement. He also extended heartfelt thanks to all participating members of ADTOI for their dedication and active involvement in the green initiative.
The event served as a reminder of the tourism sector’s growing commitment to promoting eco-friendly and sustainable practices in the Andaman and Nicobar Islands.
