Mr. Oscar a resident of Campbell Bay has gone viral on Social Media for his own version of the famous song ‘Ae Dil Hain Mushkil Jeena Yahan’ sung by the legendary singer Mohammed Rafi. The video originally uploaded by Mr. Arul Raj another resident of Campbell Bay, Great Nicobar is being liked and shared by many on social media platforms and instant messaging apps.
In his song Mr. Oscar highlights the everyday difficulties faced by the residents of Campbell Bay. Mr. Oscar is known in Campbell Bay for his interesting personality. It is being reported that this is not the first time that Mr. Oscar has sung this song, infact earlier on some occasions he had even performed this song on stage.
The song has struck a chord with the residents of the remote Islands of Nicobar Group, who face similar issues at their respective places of residence.
The song is an example of how art can be used to describe the problems in the society in a non-offending way.
