Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad Hosts Karyakarta Abhyas Varga in Sri Vijaya Puram

The Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad (ABVP) Sri Vijaya Puram Unit organised a Karyakarta Abhyas Varga on October 27, 2024, at the Chinmaya Mission in Sri Vijaya Puram. The event attracted 70 students from various colleges of Andaman and Nicobar Islands. Karyakarta Abhyas Varga aimed to foster personality development and familiarise participants with the organisation’s operations.

Dr. H.K. Sharma, Principal of JNRM, inaugurated the program as the Chief Guest, emphasising the significance of student participation in the welfare and development of society and the nation. He highlighted the role of responsible citizenship in achieving these goals.

Swami Suddhanand Saraswati Ji, Aacharya of Chinmaya Mission, delivered a special address on the importance of leading a healthy, happy, and meaningful life while serving others to spread happiness. 

The event featured two informative sessions led by Dr. Kandimuthu and Dr. Santosh Kumar Jha, focusing on the ABVP’s work and its unique approach to national reconstruction, which emphasizes constructive efforts and prioritizes the nation.

In the concluding session, a new committee for the ABVP Sri Vijaya Puram was formed for the 2024-2025 academic year, appointing Mr. Tejender Singh as President, Satyajit Halder as Secretary, R. Rajshekhar as Treasurer, Ms. Megha Shill as Chatra Pramukh, and V. Saran Shiva as Media Convener.

Dr. Kandimuthu, Vibhag Pramukh of ABVP, addressed the attendees, stating that ABVP’s mission is centered on national reconstruction. He urged every ABVP Karyakarta to enhance their outreach among the student community and contribute to transforming Bharat into a modern and developed nation.
