The Department of Civil Aviation, Andaman & Nicobar Administration, convened a Pre-Application Meeting on August 20 at Sri Vijaya Puram with aviation operators keen on launching commercial helicopter services to key tourist destinations across the Islands.
The meeting witnessed participation from seven aviation companies, who shared valuable inputs and suggestions regarding the proposed services. These inputs are presently under examination by the Administration. Based on the feedback, a Request for Proposal (RFP) will be issued to finalize an operator for the introduction of the service.
The last date for submission of Expressions of Interest (EOI) by aviation operators has been fixed for September 19, 2025, up to 3:00 PM. Following the receipt of EOIs, the Administration will move forward with issuing the RFP to take the initiative ahead.
