The Andaman & Nicobar Fire and Emergency Services Training Centre has achieved a significant milestone by successfully conducting the 54th External Sub-Officers Course, recording a 100 per cent pass result.

The course commenced on 15 July 2025, shortly after the Training Centre was conferred the prestigious status of a State Training Centre (STC) by the National Fire Service College (NFSC), Nagpur, under the Ministry of Home Affairs, Government of India. This marked the first External Sub-Officers Course conducted by the centre after attaining STC status.

The inaugural batch comprised 30 fire service officials drawn from reputed organisations across the country, including GAIL, Gujarat Fire Service, Bihar Fire Services, Maharashtra MIDC, among others. The trainees underwent rigorous professional training at the State Training Centre and subsequently appeared for examinations conducted strictly in accordance with NFSC norms.

All trainees successfully cleared the examinations, bringing national recognition to the Andaman & Nicobar Fire and Emergency Services State Training Centre. The achievement reflects the high standards of training imparted at the institute and highlights the dedication, professionalism, and commitment of its faculty members, whose guidance and efforts were instrumental in attaining this remarkable outcome.
