A solemn programme was organised at the Andaman Club by the Department of Art and Culture, A&N Administration to honour the occasion.

The event was graced by Admiral DK Joshi (Retd.), PVSM, AVSM, YSM, NM, VSM, Hon’ble Lt. Governor of A&N Islands and Vice Chairman of the Islands Development Agency. A short film on ‘Samvidhan Hatya Diwas’, produced by the Ministry of Culture, was also screened during the event. The film served as a poignant reminder of the importance of safeguarding the Constitution and democratic principles.

Adding to the commemorative spirit, a signature campaign under the theme #LongLiveDemocracy saw enthusiastic participation from attendees, reinforcing collective resolve toward protecting democratic ideals.
