The general public has been informed that registration marks for motor vehicles under the new series ‘AN01-W’ have been made available for reservation from today, January 5, as the existing series ‘AN01-T’ is nearing end.
Vehicle owners who wish to reserve a registration mark of their choice can avail themselves of the online reservation facility for motor vehicle registration numbers in the new series by submitting their applications through the prescribed online mode. The series currently open for reservation include the U-Series, which will function as the normal running series, along with the V-Series and the newly introduced W-Series (AN01-W).
In addition, the authorities have clarified that vehicle owners who intend to book a preferred registration mark from previous series may also do so for the left-out registration numbers, subject to availability and on payment of the prescribed price.
