A three-day comprehensive training-cum-review meeting for facility-level staff was conducted by the A&N AIDS Control Society (ANACS) from December 17 to 19 in the conference hall of the Department of Industries.
Inaugurating the programme as chief guest, the Director of Health Services and Vice-Chairperson, ANACS, H.M. Siddharaju, underscored the importance of effective counselling by trained counsellors and called for similar capacity-building training to be extended to other medical personnel. He also stressed the need for healthcare professionals to remain updated on evolving developments in the field.
Addressing the participants, Dr. Subrata Saha, Project Director, ANACS, outlined the objectives of the training programme and its role in improving service delivery at the facility level.
