Andaman and Nicobar Cooperative Supply and Marketing Federation Ltd. (ANCOFED) will soon start procurement of Copra under the Price Support Scheme from the farmers of South Andaman District including Little Andaman and Great Nicobar Island through its member societies (Primary Cooperative Societies) which have been appointed to act as Sub-Agents.
The Copra will be procured @ Rs. 10,860/- per Quintal. ANCOFED has urged the farmers to avail the benefit of the Price Support Scheme by supplying Copra to ANCOFED.
All interested farmers have been requested to register their names in the E-Samrdhi Portal of NAFED.
