Andaman Association of Tour Operators, under the leadership of Shri. M Vinod, President, AATO organised an awareness programme on COVID-19 SOP’s and Guidelines. Mr. Suneel Anchipaka, Deputy Commissioner, South Andaman was the Chief Guest on the occasion.
While speaking during the awareness programme Mr. Suneel Anchipaka mentioned that Andaman and Nicobar Administration is trying its best to revive tourism in the Islands. He further mentioned that the safety of the Islanders is paramount and the tourism activities must be restarted by following all COVID-19 SOP and guidelines.
The awareness programme was attended by stakeholders of Andaman Association of Tour Operators, Andaman Chamber of Commerce and Industries, Hoteliers, Boat Owners and Adventure Sports Operators.
Mr. Hari Kallikkat, SDM South Andaman and Mr. Lakshay Singhal, IAS Probationer were also present on the occasion.
Mr. Vinod, President, AATO expressed gratitude towards the Deputy Commissioner (SA) for attending the programme and briefing the stakeholders on COVID-19 SOP and guidelines.
