Andaman Law College Celebrates Constitution Day Befittingly

The lone Law College of Andaman and Nicobar Islands, Andaman Law College celebrated Constitution Day befittingly. Constitution Day function was presided over and inaugurated by Mr. Subhankar Sen, Secretary (Law & Jail), A & N Administration as the chief guest. Mr. Rizwanullah, Deputy Secretary (Law & Jail), A & N Administration was the guest of honour.

Addressing the gathering, the chief guest highlighted the principles and values cherished in the Constitution. He also stressed upon the fact that the Constitution of India is not a mechanical document and its constructive criticism from time to time is necessary to keep it in synchronisation with the present needs of the society. 

In his address, the guest of honour stated that from North to South in India the common thread that binds us all is our Constitution. The students of Andaman Law College also spoke on the importance of Constitution Day and presented a cultural dance performance depicting the cultural diversity of the nation. Earlier, Mr. Prashant Bhadu, Principal (i/c), Andaman Law College delivered the welcome address.
