Andaman Law College Students Call on Lt. Governor After Participating in Viksit Bharat National Youth Parliament 2025

Prof. (Dr.) P. V. N. Sarma, Principal of Andaman Law College, along with a delegation of students, called on Admiral D. K. Joshi, PVSM, AVSM, YSM, NM, VSM (Retd.), Hon’ble Lt. Governor of Andaman and Nicobar Islands and Vice-Chairman of the Islands Development Agency, at Raj Niwas on April 15, 2025.

The meeting followed the students’ recent participation in the Viksit Bharat National Youth Parliament 2025 held in New Delhi, a prestigious platform aimed at fostering political awareness and policy engagement among youth.

During the event, the students had the opportunity to interact with the Hon’ble Prime Minister, Mr. Narendra Modi, and actively contributed to high-level discussions on key national issues. Topics included One Nation, One Election—with focus on its economic and fiscal implications and its influence on electoral behaviour—as well as policy initiatives to reform the current agricultural systems.

The Hon’ble Lt. Governor lauded the students for their outstanding performance and encouraged them to continue their active engagement in shaping the nation’s future.
