The Department of Education and the Department of Sports & Youth Affairs, A&N Administration, in collaboration with the Andaman Nicobar Chess Association, will organise the Andaman-Nicobar Chess Mahasangram 2.0 on March 28 and 29 at Netaji Stadium.
The tournament, regarded as one of the biggest and most anticipated chess events in the Islands, will be conducted in an open-ground setting under floodlights, promising an exciting experience for participants and spectators alike.
The event is open to all chess players, and no entry fee will be charged for participation. However, participants must have a valid registration with the All India Chess Federation (AICF) for the year 2025–26. Players who do not yet have AICF registration can complete their new registration online at https://prs.aicf.in/new-register.
Chess players, enthusiasts, parents, and schools have been invited to register for the tournament through the Google Form link: https://forms.gle/pPVh6TH64QKeZ31H8.
