In response to the nationwide rollout of new criminal laws, the Andaman and Nicobar Police have introduced a dedicated 24/7 helpline to ensure seamless coordination and effective implementation across the islands. The helpline number, 9531856083, is now operational and aims to enhance public safety and the administration of justice by providing a direct line of communication for all stakeholders.

This initiative underscores the commitment of the A&N Police to facilitate the smooth transition and enforcement of these laws. The helpline will serve as a critical resource for law enforcement agencies, legal practitioners, community organisations, and the public, offering assistance and addressing inquiries related to the new regulations.

“Our goal is to ensure that every stakeholder can function optimally under the new legal framework,” said a spokesperson for the A&N Police. “We are dedicated to providing a vital support system to uphold the rule of law and enhance public safety across the islands.”

For more information or assistance related to the new criminal laws, all stakeholders and the general public are encouraged to contact the helpline at 9531856083.
