The Andaman Nicobar Pradesh Youth Congress has intensified its grassroots engagement with a successful two-day outreach program held on February 17 and 18, 2025. The initiative focused on strengthening youth participation and addressing local grievances in villages and remote areas across North & Middle Andaman.
The outreach program witnessed enthusiastic participation from young supporters and local residents across multiple panchayats. Led by Pradesh Youth Congress President Ms. Diksha Dular and Youth Leader Mr. Abhibhusan Ghosh, the initiative received strong backing from Pradesh Congress Committee (PCC) President Mr. Rangalal Halder, Block President (Rangat) Mr. D. Kandaswamy, Youth Congress Block President Mr. Tapos Mondal, and other prominent local leaders.
During the program, the Youth Congress delegation visited key locations, including Bakultala Panchayat, Baludera (Kausalaynagar Panchayat), Shyamkund (Bakultala Panchayat), and Chappa Tikri (Urmilapur Panchayat). These visits provided a platform for direct interaction with villagers, allowing the leadership to assess pressing concerns related to youth employment, infrastructure development, and economic opportunities.
Addressing the gatherings, the Youth Congress leaders reassured residents of their commitment to advocating for their welfare. They highlighted the party’s role in voicing public concerns and pushing for solutions at various administrative levels. The discussions also covered past achievements and future plans of the Youth Congress in the Andaman & Nicobar Islands, reinforcing its dedication to grassroots activism and youth empowerment.
The outreach initiative has further strengthened the connection between the Congress party and the people of North & Middle Andaman, ensuring that their voices are heard. The Pradesh Youth Congress has pledged to continue such engagements to build stronger community relations and advocate for the region’s development.
