Andaman & Nicobar Rowing Association is set to conduct selection trials for aspiring rowers on September 7, 2024, at the SAI Water Sports Complex in Sippighat. The trials, which will commence at 6:00 AM, are aimed at forming the Andaman and Nicobar Islands Rowing team for upcoming national events.
The selected team will represent the islands at the 25th Sub Junior National Rowing Championships, scheduled to take place in Gorakhpur, Uttar Pradesh, from October 22 to October 26, 2024. Additionally, the team will compete in the 44th Junior and 7th Inter-State Challenger National Rowing Championships in Pune, Maharashtra, from December 1 to December 6, 2024.
Interested candidates are encouraged to register their names with Mr. Rama Rao. The registration deadline is September 6, 2024.
