In a bid to promote tourism during the offseason and spotlight the rich historical legacy of the Andaman & Nicobar Islands, the Tourism Department will organize a public lecture titled “Heritage Tourism – History of Andaman and Nicobar: Ancient & Pre-colonial Era” on 23rd August 2025.
The session, scheduled for 11 AM in the Conference Hall of the Directorate of Disaster Management, will be delivered by Dr. Pronob Sircar of the Tribal Welfare Department, a noted expert on the history and culture of the Islands.
