A delegation of tourism stakeholders from the Andaman and Nicobar Islands is actively participating in SATTE 2025, South Asia’s largest tourism exhibition, which commenced on 19th February 2025 at the Yashobhoomi Convention Centre, Dwarka, Delhi.
The delegation includes members of the Andaman Association of Tour Operators (AATO), led by its President, Mr. M. Vinod, along with Makruzz, led by Mr. Mohammad Jadwet, and Reeflooker – Semi Submarine, led by Mr. Mohammed Sajid.
The Andaman Pavilion, jointly set up by Makruzz and AATO, received a visit from Ms. Mugdha Sinha, IAS, Director General (Tourism), Ministry of Tourism, along with other officials from the ministry. The stall has been designed to effectively promote ‘Brand Andamans’, highlighting the islands as a premier travel destination.
Speaking about the significance of the event, Mr. Vinod emphasised that participating in major tourism fairs like SATTE enhances the national visibility of the Andaman and Nicobar Islands, positioning them as a key tourism hotspot. He also noted that the exhibition provides a valuable networking platform for island-based tourism stakeholders to engage with travel agents and industry professionals from across the country.
The three-day event, which runs from 19th to 21st February 2025, is expected to attract thousands of travel enthusiasts, industry leaders, and stakeholders, further strengthening the tourism prospects of the Andaman and Nicobar Islands.
