Andaman Tourism Stakeholders Showcase Island Offerings at ITB Asia 2024 in Singapore

A high-profile delegation of tourism stakeholders from the Andaman Islands, led by Mr. Mohammed Jadwet, Chapter Chairman of the Indian Association of Tour Operators (IATO) for the Andaman Region, and Mr. M. Vinod, President of the Andaman Association of Tour Operators (AATO), is actively representing the region at ITB Asia 2024. The event, which runs from October 23rd to 25th at the Sands Expo and Convention Centre, Marina Bay Sands, Singapore, offers a prominent platform to promote Andaman tourism.

The Andaman delegation is participating through the Pavilion of the Ministry of Tourism, Government of India, showcasing the diverse offerings of the Andaman Islands. Among the participating tourism businesses are Makkruz, Experience Andaman, Island Travels, and Andaman Escapade—key players in the region’s travel industry.

ITB Asia 2024, known as one of the most prestigious trade shows in the Asia-Pacific region, brings together international travel professionals, industry leaders, and exhibitors from across the globe. The Andaman delegation aims to use this global stage to strengthen partnerships, explore business collaborations, and position the Andaman Islands as a top travel destination.

Mr. M. Vinod expressed his excitement about the delegation’s participation. “This is an excellent opportunity for us to highlight the beauty and cultural richness of the Andaman Islands,” he said. “We are eager to engage with international partners and showcase our unique offerings.”
