The Commissionerate of Value Added Tax (VAT) in Andaman and Nicobar Islands has launched a dedicated online portal, e-VAT Seva (https://vat.andaman.gov.in), to streamline tax compliance under the Andaman & Nicobar Islands Value Added Tax Regulation, 2017.
With effect from April 1, 2025, e-filing of VAT returns has been made mandatory for all registered dealers. This applies to Quarter 4 of the Financial Year 2024-25 onwards, requiring businesses to submit their monthly tax remittances and quarterly VAT returns exclusively through the digital platform.
All VAT-registered dealers have been directed to register on the portal and ensure timely compliance as per the prescribed regulations.
