ANTCC Announces Dharna Against Central Govt. Policies; Several Local Issues also on Agenda

Andaman and Nicobar Territorial Congress Committee today announced a Dharna on 6th October 2021 against the Central Govt. Policies on the economy, farmers distress, handling of COVID-19 Pandemic, privatisation of PSUs, the crackdown on activists and many more national issues. 

ANTCC has also included several local issues in their agenda which includes revival of Pradesh Council, 100% Job Reservation for Islanders, the establishment of a Central University, construction of Bridge between Chatham and Bambooflat, starting post-graduation courses in ANIIMS, increasing the salary of Asha and Anganwadi Workers, reduction in airfares, improvement in Islander-Island shipping services etc.

According to ANTCC, the main protest will be carried out at Gandhi Statue, Aberdeen Bazaar and concurrently protests will be held at all municipal and panchayat wards by the congress workers.
