ANTCC President Mr. Rangalal Halder, along with the ANTCC Campaign Committee Chairman Mr. TSG Bhasker and Ex-General Secretary of City Congress, Mr. Saji Varghese, led a high-level delegation visit to Shaheed Dweep on Sunday. The delegation included Pradesh Youth Congress President Ms. Diksha Dular, Vice-President Mr. Abhibhushan Ghosh, and General Secretaries Mr. Dakshin Bhasker and Ms. Kajal.
During their visit, the ANTCC leaders held a series of fruitful meetings with prominent senior leaders and ardent supporters of the Congress Party on the island. The delegation made it a point to personally visit each senior leader at their residence, seeking their valuable guidance and opinions on ways to further strengthen the party.
A major part of the discussions revolved around reviewing public issues and devising an effective strategy for the upcoming 2024 elections. The delegation took a keen interest in understanding the specific challenges and opportunities in Shaheed Dweep and sought insights from the senior leaders on how to enhance the party’s campaigning efforts in the region.
The meetings were marked by a constructive exchange of ideas, and the ANTCC leaders expressed their commitment to addressing the concerns and aspirations of the island’s residents. They vowed to work collaboratively with the local leadership to devise policies that resonate with the people and reflect their needs.
The senior leaders of the Congress Party in Shaheed Dweep, including Mr. Ravi Das, Mr. Upen Das, Mr. Vimal, Mr. Bhagirat, Mr. Chidambaram, and several others, warmly welcomed the delegation. They appreciated the initiative taken by the ANTCC leadership to directly interact with them and gain a better understanding of the region’s unique requirements.
